Ban graduated as a Doctor of Medicine from Linköping University in 2020. She worked as an assistant physician in primary care, internal medicine, and emergency services for almost 2 years before she began working as an intern physician in Stockholm in 2021. Ban has in her spare time on the side of her studies since high school worked in the beauty industry.
